HKIA Terminal 2 Coach Hall Runs Smoothly on its First Day of Operation

23/09/2025

The new Coach Hall of Hong Kong International Airport commenced operations on 23 September, 2025, as the first phase launch of the expanded Terminal 2 (T2). This facility offers one-stop cross-boundary coach services, marking a new milestone in connecting HKIA with the Greater Bay Area.

Seamlessly connected to Terminal 1 (T1), the Coach Hall provides 41 parking bays for tour buses, cross-boundary coaches, limousines, crew and resident coaches, as well as ticketing counters for cross-boundary transport. The Coach Hall consolidates services previously scattered across T1, Car Park 1, and Car Park 4, offering integrated multimodal transport and a more comfortable indoor waiting environment.

As the next phase of commissioning, the departure facilities at T2 are scheduled to open in the first quarter of next year.
