Airport Authority Hong Kong Welcomes Court’s Judgment

(HONG KONG, 22 December 2016) – Airport Authority Hong Kong welcomes the court’s judgment today on the judicial reviews on the Environmental Impact Assessment report of the Three-runway System. The construction of the Three-runway System of the Hong Kong International Airport has commenced, and Airport Authority Hong Kong is committed to implementing a series of environmental mitigation measures as stipulated in the Environmental Impact Assessment Report and Environmental Permit, with a view to avoiding, minimising, mitigating and compensating the potential environmental impact.
